Once you’ve earned your on-field rating you will be given opportunities to officiate low-stress off-season games. There are plenty of volunteer opportunities available and a few paid reffing assignments during the off-season. You will be advised of both as they become available. During this time you will also be assigned a mentor with whom you will correspond during the season. This person will be a resource to you throughout the season as you learn the game.
