After completing the classroom session you will complete on-field training with experienced officials in a low-pressure game setting. You will shadow, and be shadowed by an experienced official who will offer you feedback. The final phase of this training you will be the field, officiating a game, with an experienced official watching you from the sidelines. Upon demonstrating basic competence, you will receive a US Lacrosse Rating (i.e. official’s certification). A letter with more detailed feedback will also be sent to you following the event.
